Jeff has spent 20 years in the garage door industry, learning the trade from his older brother before building a career of his own. His experience includes the installation and repair of residential and commercial garage doors and openers, along with extensive industry training over the years, including fire door training.
Even after two decades in the trade, Jeff still enjoys the challenge of figuring out a new problem. He especially values meeting people throughout the community and being able to use his experience to help homeowners and businesses find the right solution.
Jeff was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, and moved to Woodland in 2022. Family is a huge part of his life. He and his high school sweetheart have a 16-year-old son and twin 5-year-old boys, along with a large extended family that rarely misses an excuse to get together. Outside of Ryder Garage Doors, Jeff enjoys camping, boating, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Jennifer helps keep the day-to-day operations at Ryder Garage Doors running smoothly, bringing four years of experience to her role as Office Administrator. She specializes in customer service, scheduling, and administrative support, helping make sure customers have a friendly, organized experience from the first phone call through their completed service.
Her favorite part of the job is getting to talk with new people every day and helping customers get where they need to go. Whether she is coordinating schedules, answering questions, or keeping things organized behind the scenes, Jennifer is an important part of keeping the Ryder team moving.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, Jennifer has spent her life in the Pacific Northwest. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, building LEGO sets, and spending time with her family.
With 15 years of experience in the garage door industry, Colby brings extensive knowledge and a problem-solving mindset to every job. What started as a three-month summer job turned into a career, and today he specializes in diagnosing and repairing garage door problems while remaining proficient in all aspects of residential garage door service. He has also completed IDA compliance training.
For Colby, one of the best parts of the job is that no two days are the same. He enjoys meeting new people, taking on new challenges, and traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest helping homeowners keep their garage doors working safely and reliably.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Colby grew up as a Boy Scout and still enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. When he is not working, you will usually find him fishing, camping, working on cars, or spending time with his 11-year-old son.
Tristan joined the garage door industry after being referred by a friend and quickly found a career that fits his hands-on personality. He works in both new garage door installation and repair and continues to expand his knowledge and experience with every job.
One of Tristan’s favorite things about the work is that every day takes him somewhere different. He enjoys meeting new people, working in new environments, and seeing the finished result of a job done right.
A lifelong Yacolt, Washington local, Tristan has deep roots in southwest Washington and comes from a big, close-knit family that gets together throughout the year. Outside of work, he is happiest outdoors, riding dirt bikes, hunting, fishing, and enjoying everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Josiah brings 20 years of customer service and sales experience to Ryder Garage Doors. He started working with customers at 18 and has built his career around listening to what people need, finding practical solutions, and making the process as easy as possible from start to finish.
At Ryder, Josiah specializes in customer service, sales, and estimating, helping homeowners choose garage doors and openers that fit their needs, style, project, and budget. He also works closely with builders and contractors on new construction and larger residential and commercial projects. Throughout his career, Josiah has earned recognition for customer experience, customer retention, sales performance, and new-account growth.
Born and raised on a 20-acre farm in Ridgefield, Washington, Josiah has strong roots in southwest Washington and credits farm life with teaching him the value of hard work, responsibility, and doing things right. Outside of work, he enjoys thrifting, writing, and spending time with his large extended family. He is also a published children’s book author, so when he is not helping customers with garage doors, there is a good chance he is working on a story or attending one of the many family birthdays, weddings, graduations, and celebrations on his calendar.
